[Text him! Or do whatever, I'm not the police, and neither is he, thank God. Just specify if you want the more-fun-but-less-stable pre-11/20 guy or the grumpy third semester/postcanon guy. Pancake only for VRDR guys please, he's not third semester yet]

He literally walked in with a 90's high school uniform, looked nothing like us or the "Akirens," and he had no idea what the TV world or Metaverse were, but was very familiar with the Velvet Room.

Evidently, there is a being called Philemon who stands above Igor, and he too can grant the power of Personas to people.

And evidently, one of his Personas is Izanami. I am trying to gather more information, but I would say his most distinct feature besides his antiquated fashion is his earring.

There is another possibility, of course. That boy described it as "the Izanami inside himself," so "my" Izanami may have been entirely different, with the Persona Izanami simply being a reflection of the actual goddess. Seeing how both Yu and Adachi wielded Izanagi in some form, it may be the simplest explanation.

Nonetheless, it's quite odd. He spoke of a Belladona and Nameless, who I've never heard of, and spoke as if Igor himself as the Velvet Room's primary attendant. And to top it all off, Philemon created Igor and the Velvet Room.

That boy is also apparently friends with the heir to the Nanjo Group, which I suppose does continue the pattern of Persona wielding teens having at least a few wealthy and/or famous people in their groups.

I suspect a cover-up was involved. The Mikage-cho incident and SEBEC may have received great media coverage, but the involved parties were scrubbed clean from the public eye. In time, the incident became but a distant memory, to the point that I wasn't even aware of it until I began working for the Shadow Operatives myself.

So, there are a lot of holes in my understanding. I think this is an excellent opportunity to rectify that.

[Sure, Maki was around back then, but even she hasn't fully divulged her personal history. As a therapist, her job's always been to help her clients.]

But yes, Kirijo Group was once a subsidiary of the Nanjo Group until they split off on their own.
